Mangaluru: Order from Yeddyurappa - Satyajit removes all flexes

Mangaluru, Mar 4: It seems that the senior leaders of the BJP party are able to pacify the rebellion that was brewing in the district BJP cadres to a certain extent.

BJP leader Satyajit Suratkal, who was one of the ticket aspirants of Dakshina Kannada constituency, has asked his followers to remove all the flexes that were put up throughout the district demanding the party to select him as candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

As these flexes created chaos within the party circles of the district, state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa ordered the same to be removed. Accordingly, Satyajit asked his supporters to take the flexes out.

It was almost certain of Nalin Kumar Kateel contesting again for the Lok Sabha seat from Dakshina Kannada. However, Satyajit had started competing for the ticket by hoisting the flexes in his name.

These flexes were an embarrassment to the leaders of state BJP. The quote mentioned on the flex 'In the name of supporters of Satyajit, who is our choice, in order to make Modi prime minister again' had given rise to many rumours about the unity in the district BJP. As this news fell into the ears of the top leaders of state BJP, they took immediate action and asked the same to be removed.
