Has the "real" Rauf Pinto indeed travelled from DXB? Did he land in Mangalore, that being the case? Possibly his identity must have been "morphed"? Is there a proof that he left from Mangalore Airport to his home? In this electronic age, does it take a whole 6 days for such a news to appear in this portal? There are so many alternatives one could zero in ... his passport stamping, his movements within the vicinity of the airport till the last moments he left etc. etc. The authorities concerned should have been ready with all the minute details. Did he have any strained relations / enemies who might have been jealous with him or any allied matters related whatsoever? I am not undermining the situation. However, it is said "Expect the Unexpected". OR "Keep fingers crossed". Anything and everything is possible. After all, we are all travellers sailing in the same boat interrupted in the midst with stop-and-start-journey leading to certain/uncertain destination.

If you check the CC TV of the air port arrival and parking area , you can identify on which vehicle he had gone with. Trace the vehicle, you may get proper answers.

You are absolutely right. CCTV could give all the whereabouts of his movement since the time he left Dubai and reached Mangalore.

Very strange and unusual in Mangalore. Is our place so unsafe, which was accorded among one of the safest cities? His family' s concern understandable.
    May he reach home safely.

Always airport taxi's are more safer than local taxis as airport taxis have accountability. I pray that Mr Raul Pinto will reach home safe.
