Udupi, Feb 27: Rashtriya Hindu Andolana, activists of the city staged a protest near Martyrs memorial ground, Ajjarkad near here on Wednesday, February 27, demanding to intensify the investigation on assassination of Hindu leaders.
Addressing the protestors, Vijaykumar of Hindu Jana jagruthi samiti said, "Many Hindu leaders have lost their lives in various parts of India, but no action is taken by the government and no one is questioning. India is the only country in the world for Hindus. The government should find out which hands are behind these cruel acts."
"In the last month, four hindu leaders have lost their lives. Ramalingam, a merchant of Tamilnadu was killed by fanatics, because he did not agree for conversion. These kinds of incidents are happening in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerla and the concerned government should take stern action against it. 400 hindu community families have fled from Jemshedpur fearing conversion," added Vijaykumar.
Concluding his speech, Vijaykumar said, "The committee demands to rehabilitate and secure the Hindu families of Jemshedpur and save the Hindu refugees from fanatic threat. The case of Hindu leaders should be handed over to the Central Investigation Agency, for further investigation. Another immediate demand is to ban terrorists sources like Madarasa and Populier Front of India."
