Kundapur, Feb 26: “Everybody has seen the developments that have taken place after Modi became prime minister. If you stand in favor of Modi, Modi stands up for us. Modi is the prime minister of the common man. He has climbed to greater heights by washing the legs of ordinary people. Rahul Gandhi of Congress and his relatives who say that it is for publicity have fallen at the feet of the elders in the country,” said Chakravarthi Soolibele.
He spoke in a programme titled ‘Modi for the country, we are for Modi’ held in Kundapur.
“Patriotic people like Modi are required to preserve the prestige of the country and to make India strong in the world. The people in the country will support Modi again. The important milestone achieved by India under the administration of Modi is in front of the people,” he said.
“Modi brought about special schemes for soldiers soon after he became the prime minister. The soldiers have said that they need a prime minister such as he. Modi who dreamt of war memorials like in other countries, has constructed one in India and presented to the country. Separate stones are erected in the names of 20 thousand soldiers who were martyred. We should be glad that the work that was not performed during the last seventy years is done through Modi.”
“The enemy country Pakistan has reached a stage of begging. Pakistan is being hit internally. Its economy is being squeezed. Suitable answers are being given for its misadventures.”
“Every step that is being taken by Modi is important. His decision in Rafale deal is also excellent. People know who stood by Vijay Mallya. People should know that Congress leaders had provided thousands of crores to Vijay Mallya. The Congress hand is behind cheating by Mallya in the country."
Former soldier Ramanna Shetty Hosamata was felicitated on the occasion. Shanker Ankadakatte compered the programme. Vinod Kumar welcomed everyone. Sunil Herikudru proposed the vote of thanks. Thousands of people gathered in the programme. Many had to stand due to lack of seats.
