Bengaluru: Indigo flight collides with staff of Air India on tarmac injuring him grievously

Bengaluru, Feb 25: In a bizarre incident that occurred at the International airport in the city an Indigo flight collided with the staff of Air India resulting in the breaking of his spine.

This incident occurred when Shiva Shankar, staff of Air India Engineering Service Limited was returning back to the terminal.

Giving a statement in this regard, Air India said, "An Indigo flight has collided with our staff Shiva Shankar and pulled him to a little distance. He has received grievous injuries and his spine is broken. We are praying for his speedy recovery. Indigo airlines have to give suitable compensation to him. Otherwise, face legal action."

Indigo airlines also has released a statement in this regard, which says "The staff of Air India has not got injured in the incident. He has received minor injuries and inquiry with regards to the mishap is in progress. Indigo will extend full support for the investigation of the incident."
