Rev. Father Muller.... A Jesuit of repute made a beginning to help the poor people in Mangalore.

It started when Fr. Augustus Muller dispensed homeopathic medicines under a Banyan tree. It went on to become a Leprosy hospital (now known as the St Joseph's Leprosy Hospital) and then into a fully fledged hospital. Now Father Muller's Institutions are well known all over India and even The World

Our present Bishop has rightly advised the doctors to treat patients with humanitarian concern. Great piece of advice coming from a great person. I would add that all connected with the hospital particularly the nurses and all attendants should also treat patients with love and care.

Very good initiative by Our Bishop.
I also wish if the management and the priests in particular work round the clock, it will become a beautiful idea.

Good advice from our Bishop for doctors to treat patients with humanitarian concern.

God and the doctor we alike adore
But only when in danger, not before
The danger is over, both are alike requited
God is forgotten, and the doctor is slighted.

One should live in truth, the way of living should be honest to the core with highest ethics, whose life will be living example of serving humanity. I am sure, amongst these doctors, at least few will be the living example who will serve humanity. We wish all these doctors best of luck.
