Bangalore: Congress Instigating Sri Rama Sena to Create Trouble - BJP

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Feb 4: BJP spokesman and ex-union minister Dhananjay Kumar alleged in a press conference held here on Tuesday February 3, that the Congress has been abetting Sri Rama Sena to indulge in disruptive activities. This is being done with the specific intention of maligning the state government and reap political benefits thereof, he charged.

"The BJP does not have anything to do with Sri Rama Sena. The Mangalore pub attack is an example for the Congress tactics," he added. Urging the police department to institute an inquiry into the relationship between the Congress and Sri Rama Sena, he clarified that the rumours about the central government seeking the state's report on the pub attack were false. The members of the National Women’s Commission visited Mangalore without bringing it to the notice of the state government, he explained.

Congress working president D K Shivkumar has vehemently opposed the student awareness campaign against terrorism, launched by the government. This is unfortunate and anti-people, he said. The Congress had declared its intention to organize protest programmes in front of colleges against holding these programmes. This is an attempt by the Congress party to disturb the law and order situation in the state, he felt. Dhananjay also charged the Congress party of trying to rake up this issue to reap political benefit, as that party is suffering from the ideological bankruptcy among its leadership.

Both these political parties taking advantage of the situation and trying to fool the people. Points to be noted: 1. There are several bars in mangalore, when the PUB was attacked how come it got all the media coverage it required to make a news, were the media were allerted before hand just to gain popularity? 2. Who has benifited from these attacks, the liitle known Ram sena and Muthalik got all the poularity they need. 3. Congress is taking advantage fo the situation. Both the parties have no will power to eliminate this cancer. Because they can use these issues in their favour during election. 4. BJP would have banned Ram sena if they wish and has the will power to do so. So does congress could have banned MNS in maharastra if they had the will power to do so. 5. In short our entire political stage is criminalized and criminals are used by most of the parties to do their will specially during elections. 6. Several political parties have come in open support of Sadvi, prime accused of malegaun bomb blast. We as Indians stand no moral chance to ask Pakistan to stop supporting terror groups when we failed to do so.

Mr.yogeesh kumar, development works at the cost of violence! I don't think Kannadigas need that type of development like Modi Govt. is doing in Gujarat. Modi massacared the people in 2002 and is covering up with the development works ! strange.

Mr Vijay you are harsh in stating that BJP ranks the worst. Look at the  developments that are going on around. Roads are being  constructed . The Cong/other parties were ruling from last 50 years . What were their achievements ? Let us be  practical. We cant blame the  government for such  incidents. We have to blame those persons who are supporting rama sena from behind for their selfish motives.

If Dhananjay Kumar thinks that the Congress is behind all the Ram Sena activities and more so in respect of the recent pub incident in Mangalore then the BJP government should have acted and instructed the police to book the culprits under stringent laws, why have they been soft?

Mr. Kumar why are you shielding the government? if the government is really sincere book them under such sections that they will never think of indulging in such heinous crimes. Don't blame some one else when you don't have the will to act. Very soon there will be general elections, I am sure you will need them to do your dirty work.

BJP has secretly planned the 'sena's to create social actions to create an impression that they are the champion of hindu identity/culture. Publicly deny links to 'sena's activities and indirectly acknowledge their values are the same as BJP. This startegy/model is based on the electoral success of Modi in Gujarat.

Unfortunately, we don't have good political party. But BJP ranks the worst. Leaders of BJP are power hungry and would go to any extent even denying their own RAMA. Rama Rama...please give them some common sense.

These guys are biggest loosers. BJP after JD(S) betrayal had one of the best opportunity in karnataka to make it big with respect, from cross section of society. All that they showed in last couple of months is that they can betray anyone for power. Now, what stops BJP to ban Ram Sene, when all political parties and civilized people of karnataka are demanding the same?

CM, since you have accepted the fact, that Sri Rama Sena are trouble makers, and that the congress is instigating the Sri Rama Sena, then put behind bars the leaders of the Sri Rama Sena and get the confessions from then, that congress was behind these terror acts in Mangalore. By doing this the people hitherto supporters of congress will not only support your Govt against the congres rule even in the future, but also peace will come to Mangalore at last

Look Mr dananjay kumar we are in 21st century. People have little bit common sense to think who has attacked on innocent girls in mangalore pub and who has been supporting to them. Sri Rama sena is part of your party (BJP). Everybody knows the truth. Don’t loose u r value giving such general statement.

D.Kumar says Congress is instigating RAm Sena and the BJP C.M. says that we will not Ban Ram Sena. Ultimately it is a Political Blame Game without giving importance to Public Suffering.

Britishers left this country dividing India and Pakistan and whereas our own Political Leaders have created division in Caste and Creed, Rich and Poor GAp, Division in Religion and so on. This Lok Sabha lot of changes will take place and it has to.

Well said Dhananjay, It is unfortunate to see BJP's dilemma. It is like a dog biting its owner when it was tought to bite others. It is BJP's tactics to control the damage caused by its own Mentors. (One thing is clear & sure, when it comes to vote BJP is showing its true colours) R U indirectly telling karnataka people that PUB CULTURE is acceptable to BJP & its mentor organisations like RSS & Co. HEY rama sena activists where r u, R U hering what Dhananjay is telling, IN FACT BJP IS DIVIDING HINDU'S AMONG THEMSELVES.
