Mangaluru: DySP Uma Prashanth promoted as SP of ACB

Mangaluru, Feb 23: Uma Prashanth, DySP of traffic and crime department of the city has been promoted as superintendent of police (SP) of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

An order to this effect has been sent by the concerned authorities of the government of Karnataka.

Uma Prashanth has worked in the past in different designations at Bengaluru, Kunigal, and as deputy commissioner of police, Karwar.

 

Many transfers in police department were made this week in the state ahead of forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

    If political leaders tenure is for 5 Years, then why cant these educated officers can not be given the same...???? Transfer or suspension shall only be on the dereliction of the duty. not on whims and fancies of these corrupt and crook politicians. what others think....????
