Bengaluru, Feb 23: "The national political scene has changed drastically compared to the situation three months ago. All have to work hard in an organized manner and attract the voters, and thereby ensure that the party gets maximum seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections," instructed Amit Shah to state BJP leaders.
Amit Shah, who took part in the core committee meeting of BJP in a private hotel at Yalahanka in city, has given some directions to state BJP leadership. He said, "If we compare the present national political scene to the one that was prevailing in December 2018, there is a marked change. There is no consensus among the parties who were getting united under the Mahaghatbandan. This situation has to be exploited to good effect and more seats have to be won by BJP,"
It is learnt through reliable sources of BJP that Amit Shah has advised, “Except the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is no influential leader in the national level politics at present. So all the workers of the party at all levels have to get together and see that the party gets more and more seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections,”
MLA C T Ravi, chief secretary of the state BJP has been given the responsibility of the state for the coming Lok Sabha elections. According to the guidelines, the committees of BJP formed for the Lok Sabha elections have to have a review meeting every week. Inquiry has to be conducted with regard to the implementation of the programmes and schemes announced by the central BJP and also take a stock of the situation. One meeting in a week should be held, in which B L Santosh, joint chief secretary (organization) of national BJP and Muralidhar Rao, state BJP in-charge will participate.
