Mangaluru: CA Anantha Padmanabha elected chairman of ICAI

Mangaluru, Feb 21: The new managing committee of Mangaluru branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the triennial term 2019-22 took charge at an official charge takeover ceremony held recently at ICAI Bhawan, Padil. CA Anantha Padmanabha K has been unanimously elected as chairman for the next term 2019-20.

The Mangaluru branch of the ICAI covers the jurisdictional area of Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod distrcit, and has more than 600 CA members and more than 2,000 CA students. Mangaluru branch of ICAI is considered as one of the most vibrant branches in India for its all-round activities.

CA Anantha Padmanabha K, chairman, CA Shantharam Nayak S, vice-chairman, CA Subramanya Kamath K, secretary, CA Abdur Rahman Musba, treasurer, CA Prasanna Shenoy M, chairman, Mangaluru SICASA, CA Gautham Pai D, member, and CA Gautham Nayak, member.

The new managing committee is committed to perform its duties and responsibilities in the best possible manner during its term and seeks the participation, involvement and support of the members, students and public-at-large for all its programmes/activities throughout the term and for all its future endeavours.
