Mumbai, Feb 2:
Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadikari and Padmabhushan awardee Dr D Veerendra Heggade on Saturday January 31, dedicated to the service of society the ‘Heggade Bhavan’ set up by the metro’s Heggade Seva Sangh at Iroli in Navi Mumbai.  
 
Maharashtra education minister Suresh Shetty was the chief guest on the occasion. 
 


State excise minister Ganesh R Naik, Navi Mumbai corporator Santosh D Shetty, All India Billava Federation president Jaya C Suvarna, Bharat Coach Builders director Sadashiv S Shetty, Gansoli Sri Mookambika Temple trustee Anni C Shetty and Nerul Sri Shanishwar Temple trustee Ramesh M Poojary, were the guests of honour.
 
‘Sangeet Souraba’, a musical extravaganza was staged by Kala Sourab troupe, directed by Padmabha Sasihitlu, as part of the cultural programme.
 
Heggade Seva Sangh vice-president H D Hegde, president C Ratnakar Hegde, vice- president Vijay B Hegde, secretary Prabhakar S Hegde, treasurer Shankar R Hegde, building committee president Gopal S Hegde, vice-presidents V S Hegde and Manoj Kumar Hegde were also present.
