'Times Now' TV faces backlash for twisting HDK's statement on Pulwama

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 20: Times Now, English language national TV channel, that was allegedly picking up only opposition leaders' statements on Pulwama for wrong reasons, has now faced massive backlash in social media from Kannadigas from all around the world for twisting Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy's statement on Pulwama attack.

In a tweet, Times Now said - "Karnataka CM, HD Kumaraswamy (@hd_kumaraswamy) blames India for ‘terrorism crisis’ #PulwamaPayback"

But by watching the video news clip on the same channel, it is gathered that, Kumaraswamy did not blame India for terror attack. It is clear that this channel misquoted Kumaraswamy's Kannada bites. Moreover, Times Now tickers started showing 'Shocker from Cong ally & Karnataka CM' 'Karnataka CM refused to condemn Pak' etc further provocated followers of Kumaraswamy on twitter and other social media platforms.

Reacting to the false news, JD(S) immediately hit back at Times Now and sought unconditional apology. In a tweet JDS official handle quoted "We expect media houses like @TimesNow Behave more responsibly.

Tweet is completely twisted from what @hd_kumaraswamy said to the reporter in "KANNADA", We strongly condemn this.

We demand an unconditional apology from @TimesNow For this damaging tweet."

Several followers have urged CM to take legal action against the channel for misguiding the people.

Fortunately, Republic has not come out with any such irresponsible comments. May be once bitten, twice shy. Or is Arnab busy dealing with already existing cases? No time for fresh controversies.

Times group, lost all its credibility some time ago. Its journalists are pathetic, there is no ethical reasoning in its news reporting, any body can be made villan and any villan can be made hero, for the reason they only know. Tweaking, twisting and faking for sensationalism is its only criteria for news.

Currently, it is desperate. They know if Modi does not come back to power, many will loose their jobs, which they are clinging onto.

Many people switched to other news channels just to avoid getting wrongly informed.

This is the very same channel where the buffoon, moron, maniac Arnab Goswami was first employed before being kicked.

Thereafter with the help of that stupid Rajeev Chandrashekhar from the BJP it seems he formed a new channel ( Republic TV). Since then Arnab has not stopped barking ferociously like an insane every night.

It seems this buffoon Arnab taught Times Now also with the same jumlabaazi news twist etiquettes.

Little wonder now why Times Now would not fall with its face flat on the ground.

Reaction should be retaliation in the same coin...not 'condemning' by words of mouth...only cowards/crooks not bothered about loss of soldier lives will condemn ...self respecting brave/concerned about soldiers will retaliate through visible action

Typical of lies and False hoods being indulged by our PM himself which is percolating to every walk of life. Times Now is convinced that indulging in lies will help the ruling party. A disgraceful existence to prove its loyalty.

It is a well-known fact now that BJP will try its best to keep the Pulwama attack in the limelight till the Lok Sabha elections are over so that Chaiwala will be away from the Rafale issue.
The division of the country on the lines of religion as well as party affiliation is complete now with the partisan attitude of gujjs daku and feku.

Only God can save this country
