A passerby, who witnessed this episode, was quick to catch the youth and call the police. The public who gathered for the commotion thrashed the youth for harassing the girl and handed him to the jurisdictional Nandini Layout police.
According to the cops, Naveen made it a point to follow the girl whenever she stepped out since the past few days. When the girl complained to her parents, they ignored it.
