Goa Minister likens Parrikar to Jesus for building bridges

Panaji, Jan 31 (IANS): Goa Agriculture Minister Vijai Sardesai on Thursday likened ailing Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to Jesus Christ for building bridges, especially with people.

"In the Bible, there is a saying, which says man should build bridges and not walls. Jesus built bridges not walls. You need to build bridges. Manohar Parrikar is a person who builds bridges," Sardesai said, while speaking during a congratulatory motion moved by BJP MLA Rajesh Patnekar during the ongoing Budget session of the state legislative Assembly, to congratulate Parrikar for the construction of a new cable stayed bridge 'Atal Setu', which was inaugurated on January 27.

Sardesai also said that Parrikar was not just known for technological marvels like bridges, but also for building bridges with people.

"It is not only a technological marvel, Manohar Parrikar built bridges with people who are positive," Sardesai said.

With a pipe in his nose and carrying a bag for urine in his left hand, the Goa CM came to present the budget and now hurrying to AIIMS, Delhi, for treatment ! What a shame that our Govt makes the critically sick to work just to stay in power in Goa. An inhumane behavior. Very disappointing.
Let's pray for his speedy recovery.

Nobody is mocking the ailing man.

    Rather the question of the day is;
    Was that extravagant bridge necessary?
Was the statue of disunity built by his boss necessary?

Millions of Hindustanis are going to bed sorry mat (they have no beds) and here there are two BJP clowns singing praises for their two bosses and raising them to the level of God.

At one time my honorable Vijay was defending the fish mafia for poisoning the Goans with formalin laced fish, he even built for them a Dubai themed fish market, at whose cost may I ask?
And then you are here calling the sane minded frustrated.

    Mr. Sardesai

Jesus didn't pocket 30% of the cost of building bridges...………………..

These humongous bridges are built only because they cost more, collapse faster and yield a lot using 30% as the benchmark.

    Bhandarkar,
No one knows what did take place inside (between them)
Possible that Parrikar is denying actual matter.
We can guess any way we chose.
