Mangaluru Jan 28: “Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde has no respect for Indian Constitution and Parliament,” said Home minister M B Patil.
Patil was speaking with media at Circuit House on Monday, January 29.
When asked about the controversial remarks made by Ananth Kumar Hegde on Sunday, M B Patil said, "Ananth Kumar Hegde has constantly been making such statements, which is not new. I feel it is wrong to speak about him. He has been giving such statements in order to incite violence. It is wrong on his part to deliver such statements. He does not deserve to be in Parliament. He does not even deserve to be Gram Panchayat member also. Ananth Kumar Hegde had earlier spoken about changing the Constitution. People will give answers to those who deliver such statements in the upcoming elections,”
M B Patil was in the city to attend a programme at Puttur. Later he will have a meeting with police commissioner in city.
