Madikeri, Jan 27: "Activists of Hindu organisations should create history by cutting off the hands of those from other religions who dare to touch Hindu girls," said Ananth Kumar Hegde, union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship on Sunday, January 27.
Hegde was speaking at the inauguration of a temple at Kallukore of Madapura in Somwarpet taluk.
The temple was damaged during the recent natural calamity. Parivarthana Trust of Bengaluru and Hindu Jagarana Vedike had rebuilt the temple.
“The ministers from the state government rush if a house or mosque is destroyed in natural calamity and funds are earmarked for rebuilding them. Unfortunately, no one comes if a Hindu temple collapses in natural calamity. Hindu organisations do take up the responsibility to renovate it.” he added.
He also lashed out at communists on the occasion by saying “Communists are like termites to the society. In the name of freedom, equality and revolution, they are engaged in misleading the society.’’
