Mangaluru, Jan 21: Sabarimala Samrakshana samithi took out a procession from PVS circle to Sharavu temple in the city on Monday, January 21, under the theme 'Save Sabarimala'.
Addressing the gathering, Hindu Jagarana Vedike regional president Kishore Kumar said,"There is a conspiracy behind the supreme court judgement with regard to the Sabarimala issue. There are several supreme court decisions that have to be implemented in Kerala, but Supreme court decision on Sabarimala was implemented in urgency which has hurt the sentiments of Hindus."
"There are three types of people in the society, namely, those who believe in God, those who do not believe in God and those who believe in God but do not speak out. Such people should come out and raise their voice, as we raised for our voice for issue of Ayodhya," added Kishore.
Ayyappa devotee Vishwanath said,"There is international conspiracy behind the Sabarimala issue. Muslim women are not allowed to enter Mosque because of their tradition. Similary there is a tradition that is followed since ages at Sabarimala of not permitting menstruating women inside the temple. Women below the age of 10 and above the age of 50 are allowed. We urge to review the supreme court the decision and if any untoward incident occurs supreme court will be held responsible."
VHP district secretary Shivanand Mendon said,"This is the fight between two category of people. One categirty is people who do not believe in God and the other is those who believe in God. The two women who entered the temple does not know about the tradition and rituals that are followed in the temple and they entered into the temple as communist agents."
"Supreme court took decision on Sabarimala issue, Deepavali celebration and Holi celebration claiming that it pollutes water. However, when cow is being openly slaughtered by Muslims, there will not be any kind of problem for the supreme court. Christain and Muslim women tried to enter the temple. What is connection between these women and the temple? They are just indulging in destroying the tradition and culture of Sabarimala temple," concluded Shivananda.
