Udupi, Jan 7: An inter-collegiate cultural festival titled ‘Comfest’ was held at Muddana Mantapa of the local MGM College on Tuesday January 6.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr M R Hegde, director, Poorna Prajna Institute of Management advised every one to acquire and adopt innovative skills in their lives. Acquiring a job is not of paramount importance but being occupied in one vocation or the other is, he asserted.
Dr Jayaprakash Mavinakuli, principal, MGM College, presided over the function.
Pradhan Kamat welcomed the gathering. Shajid introduced the guest. Bharat proposed vote of thanks. Priyanka compered the programme.
Anasuya Karkera, principal, Poornaprajna Pre- University College, Dr Hala Naik, head of the department of commerce, Puspalata Santyaru, students coordinator, Yashavanti Salian, lecturer, Prof Leelavati, organizer, ‘Comfest’ and Pratibha, students representative were present on the occasion.
