Karkala: Kedinje evening school celebrates 83rd annual day

Karkala, Jan 18: The 83rd annual day of Kedinje Sri Vidyabodini higher primary school (aided) was held under the joint auspices of U Subbanna Kamath education foundation (R), Old students' association, School betterment committee and the students of the school.

Flag hoisting was done on the morning and prizes were distributed to the students. Fancy dress competition was held for students of the school and old students. On the evening, students of evening school and children of Anganwadi performed various dance forms and yoga. Old students of the school performed 'Nritya Sichana'.

The annual day programme was presided by Manjunath Kotian, prinicpal of Bhuvanendra College of the town. Muniyalu Uday Shetty, president of Muniyalu Udaya Krishnaiah Charitable trust (R) and Vadiraj Acharya, Vaastu expert of Namma TV and astrologer were the chief guests. Suvasini V Shetty, headmistress of the school, Suresh Kamath, president of school managing committee, Harini Sundar Poojary, president of school betterment committee, Suryakant Shetty,honorary president of old students' association of the school and Dinesh Poojary Birottu, president of old students' association were present.
