Daijiworld Media Network – Kuwait (SB)

Kuwait, Jan 17: A man, who was running his own business in Kuwait, has been missing from his residence at Mehboula here since Monday, January 14.

It is learnt that Vishal Kumar Madhava Salian, a native of Kunjathur, near Talapady residing at Mehboula has been running a real estate business. A familiar face in Tulu and Kannada community in Kuwait, he had good contacts with various business personalities in Kuwait.

As per sources, on the morning of Monday, when he was leaving his home for business purpose, his car did not start due to battery problem. His friends came to his help immediately and they changed the battery of his car and then he left for his meetings. However, after he left for meetings, he neither called his family nor friends. Moreover, he did not return home. His mobile phone is in switched-off mode and no one knows as to where Vishal has gone.

The family members and relatives contacted Kuwait police and submitted details of Vishal. With the help of various associations, they are planning to meet Indian Consulate also.

The family members have requested the public and the Mangalurean community in Kuwait to inform the police in case they get any clues about the whereabouts of missing Vishal.

May god bless, protect and watch over all those who go abroad for the survival of their families. May god be with them and save them always.
Sushma swaraj is the foreign external minister. No doubt, she should help those who are in trouble and those are facing problems in the foreign countries.

First change your insane, Nanji mentality and use proper language or terms when you talk about those who work in GCC countries and earn, improve their living conditions and also, help their family members and friends sometimes. India is receiving foreign exchange in Billions through the remittance of Gelfie’s.
What you can work life long in India. Cannot ever afford buy 4 cents land and forget about enhancing living conditions and standard. All are not sick minded like you. Enough for the time being.

    Flavian, Mangalore/ Kuwait,
I liked your mind-blowing comment but there are few who cannot digest it. I was born and brought up in Mumbai ( Bombay before). I finished my education and so did my brother and sisters through my hard working parents. Then, I went to Dubai for better prospects and I did well. Then I moved to New York and worked hard with my wife for 30 years. That made my future and my children. Now I am happily retired and so is my wife. Life changed my life after, I went abroad and worked.

Not your concern, it's our will.. we will go & work there as we wish. Who are you to question us , Period . Are you paying our flight tickets ? Are paying for our Visa ?
Are you picking us from airport upon arrival ? No right ! So it's our desire you don't have to explain things.

Modiji will fulfill his all promises once his project kashmir is over. Project Kashmir means killing all Islamic terrorists and stone pelters. That project is in last face. Only 3 big terrozrists were alive. Out of that Zeenat ul Islam has been killed recently. Now only 2 left. Wait till election. They will also join Zeenat.

Sushma knows only how to trouble Indians working abroad by introducing more and more restrictions, just to show to people that she is very keen to protect them.

Maids are prevented from travelling to Middle East without getting permission from Director of Emigration. This is a Herculian task which is never followed by any one.

NRIs are taxed left and right as if they are alians. NRIs are made to pay higher amount for every transaction in India for no reason, the rule that is even followed by private parties, websites like Shaadi.com etc. Can anyone explain why such rules? What is the crime of NRIs?

    @Prabhu,

Mr. Prabhu, not sure how old you are but i still have to tell you to grow up. Am sure you have people from your family, fraternity and community who have moved to the middle east and have done "fairly" well for themselves.
I recollect the early 1980s when education, food, clothing, housing and "lifestyle" was a challenge in India, this was the same region which with open arms welcomed our elders who worked their blood and sweat to enable people like you and me. It was the result of their sweat that you and me are communicating in English and live a decent life. Yes, at times people are treated unfairly in the ME region. but if you see, Jet has not paid salaries to its staff for the last 4 months in full, we have Sahara and such builders who have messed the lives of people who now are at their mercy. does this NOT ring a bell on what is slavery?
I dont mean to demean your pride but would request you to lift your head high in pride that this of "slavery" gives our country billions in remittance which plays an important role in bankrolling many initiatives and funding the indian economy.

As per my assessment amchigele of Karkala are the most lucky people in this world. They have good business and income. Out of 365 days in a year, 200 days they get grand free food at temple. Why they want to leave this country. Forget country they will not even leave Karkala. According to me they have gold more than UAE.

Prabhu Karkala,as for me checking your language ,seems it is not your real name.whoever you are one thing is sure, working like a slave as you say,is not only in foreign land, but in our own land also is normal.or for example in North,it is still horrible.Going to a foreign country to work is our own wish to fill the hungry mouths of our children.Second, security is more in foreign than in own house in India.People disappear within a night ,break open house ,takeaway your possess, money gold ,when come across them clear with sword. In the first place, have some pity on the disappeared person, his family, their fear etc.God knows what could have happened him.Pray he may come back safe without any problems. And most important, learn a bit to be sensible when you comment.
