Bantwal, Jan 2: A case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act stands filed against a man at Vittal police station. A man from Sattikallu has been accused of sexually harassing a minor girl who visited his shop as a customer.
It is said that the complainant, a minor girl from Mani, had visited the shop dealing in cellphones owned by Salaam from Sattikallu near Gadiyara village. She wanted to download a song. During this visit, the accused reportedly inappropriately moved his hand over the girl's body and sexually harassed her.
After the girl went back home and complained about the man's behaviour with her parents, they filed a complaint at Vittal police station. The police, who registered a case, are investigating.
