Udupi, Dec 21: The book release of ‘Ullanghane’, was held at Kidiyoor Hotel Auditorium, on Saturday December 20.
 
Dr V S Acharya released the book authored by Dr N Mogasale.
 
Every community in Tulunadu must come forward for the growth and safety of their culture and make a written document, in the form of book. Later, it will help our new generation to know about it, said Dr Mogasale on the occasion.
 
Tulunadu culture will not survive without the Bunts. The esteemed culture of Bunts cannot be found in any other caste and is special, he said.
 
Belagodu Ramesh Bhat, author, introduced the novel ‘Ullanghane’. Indrali Jayakara Shetty, chairman, Badagabettu Co-operative Society, delivered the keynote address on the occasion.
 
Kudi Vasant Shetty welcomed the gathering. Dr Dugappa Kajekaru compered the programme.
 
Ambatanaya Mudradi, district president, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Ravindranath Hegde and Eshwara Chitpady, member, Coastal Development Authority, and Dr Gananat Ekkaru, president, taluk unit, were present on the occasion.
