Belagavi: Ramesh Jarkiholi in New Delhi, to meet Amit Shah?

Belagavi, Dec 28: Sources close to ousted minister, Ramesh Jarkiholi, claim that the Congress leader, who is grumpy ever since he was dropped from the state cabinet, left on Thursday December 27 via Goa.

As per information, Jarkiholi went to Goa from Belagavi at 3 pm and then proceeded to New Delhi by air. Although it is known that he has left for the national capital to visit a prominent leader, sources are unsure whether he will be meeting BJP national president, Amit Shah, or Congress president, Rahul Gandhi.

In the meanwhile, many assert that Jarkiholi's joining the BJP is a foregone conclusion. They add that Jarkiholi would be meeting Shah through Maharashtra chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, union minister, Nitin Gadkari, and Kolhapur district in-charge minister, Chandrakanth Patil.

In the meantime, state BJP president, B S Yeddyurappa, is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Friday. But Sathish Jarkiholi, who is trying to meet his brother and discuss several issues with him in an effort to dissuade him from taking any extreme step, could not meet Ramesh. But he met Athani legislator, Mahesh Kamathalli, and Kagawada MLA, Shrimant Patil, who are deemed to be close to Ramesh, and appraised them of the current situation and advised them to have patience.

    I would suggest JD(S)-Congress to enact anti-defection law which bans him from contesting any election for six years.
    Perhaps one of the biggest failures in our democracy and eradication of corruption is because of elected leaders like Ramesh Jarakiholi who are willing to sell their soul for anyone.
    I think it is time for India to amend "The Representation of People Act, 1951" for the sake of the nation and uphold the dignity of the voter's mandate. Here are the proposals I request any like-minded citizens to file PIL in the Supreme Court for urgent hearing;
    1. No elected members of an assembly from the party or independent should complete the five-year tenure.
    2. If any party is believed to be in horse-trading all the re-election should be incurred from it's from party funds.
    3. Those party should be banned from contesting the election under same registered logo with ECI or with new registration and logo.
    4. The defected candidate and his immediate bloodline members should be banned from contesting elections for a lifetime.
    5. The defected candidates who are responsible for re-elections, ECI should seal his bank account and business as custody to recover the reelection cost.
    6. All parties which promote defection like 'operation Kamala' should be suspended for contesting any election of the house of the complete tenure of the state.

    Any defection regardless of the parties of the elected candidate is against the voter's mandate. In the past BJP has tried to form a government using RSS leaned Governor's absolute power by passing the constitution. The strains of 'operation Kamala' of the debut BJP government under former CM Yeddyurappa who is on bail from jail on denotification and mining kickbacks has pushed the state on backward in development.
    It is clear that BJP in the Karnataka doesn't want to respect the people's verdict. They want to form the government like Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Goa in all forms.

    All regional parties in india are family dynasties supported by their communities & caste ..JDS is to serve the interest of Gowdas,.. Our coastal karnataka should have own political party, .even if you have10 seats , you can play you card & be king maker.

    People,

    Best thing for BJPeee to do , is to make this good for nothing guy as Chief Minister's...and all who wanted to be Ministers but were not....as Minister's...there are at least 2 dozen of them...

    Then support them from outside...and control them from outside like Deve Gowda does now ...

    This setup of Namak Haram's should be allowed to continue till 2019 Parliament elections...

    Is Amit Shah is smart enough to do it???...I don't think so...

    Total failure attempt from Amit Shah. Karnataka voters have fed up with Ramesh Jarkiholi. He will create problem in BJP also.
