Mangaluru, Dec 24: 'Team Modi' which was earlier known as 'Namo Brigade' is all geared up to organise Yakshagana 'Sri Devi Mahatme' by Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Prasaditha Yakshagana Mandali on December 29 at Mannagudda, with an aim to see Narendra Modi become Prime Minister again.
On December 16, Team Modi was launched replacing the earlier Namo Brigade, at 350 venues across the state. In Mangaluru, they took out the rally from Hampankatta to State Bank with a theme ‘Deshakaagi Modi, Modigaagi Naavu’. As election is few months away, ‘Team Modi’ is striving hard and several programmes are lined up with a motive to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister for the second term.
Six years ago, Namo Brigade was formed to make Narendra Modi as prime minister. As soon as Modi became PM, Namo Brigade was dissolved. Now, election is few months away and Team Modi aims to create the impact similar to Namo Brigade.
BJP was shaken after the loss in recently concluded elections. Modi supporters are buckling up and are seen promoting Modi to make sure to compensate the loss with a win in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to Daijiworld.com, Team Modi member Naresh Shenoy said, ”As an offering to see Narendra Modi as prime minister for the second term, we are conducting this Yakshagana on 29th December by Team Modi which is led by Chakravarthi Sulibele. We are planning to take up campaigns in several parts of the state to spread a message on Narendra Modi’s achievement in last four and half years. It may be distributing booklets or through speeches. Every way possible, we want to spread messages about Modi in every household. As election is few months away, we want to see Modi as prime minister for the second term.”
