Holiday for nativity feast not cancelled – CM Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru, Dec 22: “The holiday for the feast of nativity of Mother Mary was left out due to oversight in the list of holidays announced by the government. The holiday is not cancelled,” clarified chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

“The restricted holiday on September 8, celebrated as the birthday of Mother Mary will continue in 2019 also,” he said while answering to the query by MLC Ivan D’ Souza in Vidhana Parishad.

“There was no mention of nativity feast in the list of holidays of 2019 released by commissioner of Muzrai department. Therefore, it will be added as restricted holiday in the gazette notification of the government,” he added.

    It is true Non Christians want to settle down in Christian Countries cause they respect migrants treat with dignity. Indian Christians are Origin of this Land and they were taught in Schools as well in Churches to respect, pray for other religion brethern.

    There's no holiday and but it is a Restricted holiday. It is family feast and there is compulsory for attending mass. Even there is no holiday or RH will not make much difference.even RH is also a recent origin and the get together in the family can be celebrated on other convenient days according to the particular family needs.

    Prashant why you fight for religion? either you are not confident in what you practice. please god is one and just pray and thank him for all the good he has done for you. Pray for India for peace for all its citizens, pray for the world peace. why you guys are like a war lord minded always? war enemity jealousy wont solve anything. I know there are various groups who creates communal disburnce and stay away from such monsters

    That is why Most of the highly educated Indian Hindus want to migrate and settle in Christian countries. They know very well in their own country they are neither safe nor healthy. But after going there, and getting the citizenship they want to show their real color.
