Mangaluru: One injured in bike-bus road mishap near Kotekar

Mangaluru, Dec 21: One person sustained injuries in a road mishap between a bus and bike here at Kotekar December 21.

The injured is identified as Mohan from Kotekar.

The accident took place on Friday afternoon. A private bus driver heading towards Mangaluru stopped all of a sudden for passengers due to which bike headed towards Thokkottu hit the bus at the rear end.

The injured person has been admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte.

    Keeping safe distance is always safe. Even braking there is minimum distance is required. On the Mangalore-Kotekar road, everybody fly and do not drive and result is accident. Then no point in blaming others. God save us..

    Hope the bike rider is not injured badly.Every driver on the road feels that he is on a race.Noone is ready to accept the safety. for self or others. In mangalore or kkarnataka more people die on the road than a ny disease.

    If that bike was ktm. U would have told speed should be 80 killer bike ..etc...so every bike is controlled by ride...

    Our private buses in Mangalore should be abolished
    The private buses will stop anywhere to pick passengers the heavy vehicle drivers even school and college bus drivers are not well trained or ignorant about road rules. The heavy vehicle drivers think that they are the only ones on the road.
