New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS): Thailand-based budget airline NokScoot on Tuesday announced that it will launch a non-stop flight service connecting New Delhi and Bangkok.
The airline said four flights per week will commence from December 19, 2018 between New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and Bangkok's Don Muang International Airport.
According to the airline, the new service will be operated with a Boeing 777-200 wide-bodied, twin-aisle jet.
Further, the joint venture airline announced a special promotional one-way economy class fare starting from Rs 7,200 ($99), inclusive of taxes and surcharges.
"The special promotional fares are available from today to December 31, 2018 for travel between December 19, 2018 to March 30, 2019," the airline said in a statement.
NokScoot was launched in 2014 and is a joint venture between Scoot and Thailand's regional LCC, Nok Air.
The airline operates medium-to long-haul routes from Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport with Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
It currently flies to Narita and Osaka in Japan, Taipei in Taiwan, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Tianjin and X'ian in China.
