Kundapur, Dec 12: Kalakshetra as a prelude for ‘Inidani’ musical programme scheduled on January 13 inaugurated their office and released invitation cards for the programme.
Entrepreneur Neramballi Raghavendra Rao lighted the lamp and inaugurated the office. He said that music has the strength to cure the illness of its listener. “Old songs are pleasing to the ear. Our cooperation to Kalakshetra which has enabled us to listen to old music for the last nine years will always be there,” he said.
Anupama Shetty released the invitations cards of Inidani programme. She said that the organization has contributed to the musical sector by starting the idea of Inidani. “Let it continue,” she said.
Chief Guest, chief municipal council officer Gopalakrishna Shetty said that Kalakshetra is contributing immensely to music, art and cultural sectors. “It awakens cultural consciousness among people.”
Kalakshetra vice president H S Hatwar, former municipal council vice president Rajesh Kaveri, municipal councilor Girish, former councilor Udaya Mendon, Ganesh Bhat and others were present.
Kalakshetra president Kishore Kumar gave an introductory address saying that ‘Inidani’ started in small scale ten years ago has grown in stages and captured the minds of eight thousand audiences last time. “It has become successful due to encouragement of music lovers and cooperation from sponsors,” he said.
