Kundapur, Dec 8: Karnataka Lokayukta Vishwanath Shetty paid a surprise visit to Kundapur government hospital here on Saturday, December 8.
Speaking to media persons, Lokayukta said, "If the government hospital is preferred by more people, then it is understood that it is rendering good service. It is our duty to inspect government hospitals and check whether the public have any issues. I have visited this hospital and I can say that here service by the doctors is satisfactory."
He further said, "If there are any complaints regarding the hospital or the doctors, you can send complete details with your personal address to me. We will investigate. Government hospitals must render good service to the patients. The doctors can win people's trust with their dedicated service."
During the visit, DC Priyanka Mary Francis, Kundapur primary health centre health official Dr Robert Rebello, taluk health officers Dr Nagabhushana Udupa were present.
