Looks like the terror attack is part of a larger conspiracy - that of pushing India and Pakistan into another war. The immediate beneficiaries are the defence equipment vendors in the West already tottering under the financial crisis. These vendors have already benefited with India clearing a lot of security equipment purchase following the terror attack. We should be careful on how we respond to this attack. While a tough response to this is required, we should not be provoked into a war, which will bring about misery to our people, while giving financial benefits to the West.

All the inteligence agencies in the world should jointly investigate and find out the facts to root out terrorism in all the countries.The agencies who do not co-operate in investigation shows that they are encouraging the activities of terrorism.Strict action must be taken to just flashout terrorists from these places where they operate from and ban all organisations connected to this.Encourage the private detective /security agencies in India,like home gaurds/police/private companies.

Dear Raj, what you have pointed out is just a in the ocean of the money that is wasted in India at the cost of putting the common man under the sword. Apart from what you have mentioned the cricketers also get countless money from advertising, gifts and money showered by private businessmen and houses. No country in the world does this kind of folly when coming to rewarding their players or athletes. This apart what about the film industry can anybody count the money paid for actors.? Our politicians - their bunglows and elite security.? Look at the Taj and Oberoi. Even the NRI`s based in the gulf have to think twice before entering them, but for the elite businessmen of India, film industry staff, and for affluent Indias it is a everyday affair. It is not blaming anybody for their success or luck in acquiring wealth, but things have to change. Let the common man get the basic things to lead a peaceful life.

we see outrages like this only wen our country is attacked.yes nice to see people united for a cause,But how long this unity will long? i have a suggestion here..for us to be united and be strong and face the threats for our country, we need to send all our children to NCC/Airwing/Seawing/Army.I have experinced my self that the two years of traning in the airwing has installed a sence of pride in me.It has made me a better person.The people who have undergone this training in school and colleges will agree with me that these kind of activities if made compulsary will be helpful for our next generation atleast..

Hundreds of people, including children and senior citizens, gathered at Gateway of India in Mumbai on Wednesday evening to mourn the death of victims and martyrs. Is it because dead people are rich and 5star people??! What about others who killed in other parts of Mumbai in taxi blasts. Why Nobody cared & visited the sites. Is only rich and famous mans life counts? I am not against such events but one should care about poor people also. Jai Hind.

"SECURITY IS ESSENTIAL FOR COMMON PEOPLE WHO ARE PAYING TAXES. PERSONNEL DEPLOYED TO PROTECT POLITICIANS WHO CANNOT SAVE PEOPLE AND THE COUNTRY SHOULD BE WITHDRAWN IMMEDIATELY". However this realization has come into the minds of the people of India, I support this view 100%. What a waste of money to secure the elected thieves and robbers of the peoples' taxes! This must be stopped. Only peoples' movement can arrive at the resoultion of this problem and stop this waste of peoples' taxes.

Today our politicianss are engaged in enhancing thier purses. Any people-oriented projects are politically motivated and blocked by the politicians or delayed by them but if there is a resolution in the parliament or in the State legislature to increase their own slaries and other financial increases, that passes without any debate!!!! Has justice become blind or have the politicians lost the sense of responsibility and have they become deaf to listen to the voice of their consciences. Let this question circulate among the people of India and let and introswpection happen and let an answer come out of moral responsibility. Recent visit of several politicians to Bombay while the entire security mechinary was required to be engaged in protecting the people trapped in the terror targets is rediculous. The politicians deliberately concentrated the security personnel around them during their unrequired vist rather than allowing the secuirity personnel to be engaged in saving life.

Perhaps if the politicians refrained from their immediate visit to Bombay in the midst of action, and visited the hospitals and other related places connected with terror of the last week, a few more lives could have been saved. Now even when the government announces hundreds of thousands rupees as compensation, or remmuneration to the dead, or their relatives, even that money is from the pockets of the tax payer!!!!! Who cares?

Mumbai We are with you.  I would like to share the following statastics .  When our Soldiers are fighting for days together without proper food, water and without proper rest see what our cricketers got for just a game which is played for 3 hrs. 

 Here's a list of the prize money and gifts received by the Indian cricketers so far. 1) The Indian team received a prize money worth $490,000 for winning the Twenty20 World Cup. 2) The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) announced a prize money of $3 million (Rs 12 crore) for the team. Each member got a check of Rs 80 lakhs. 3) A special cash reward of Rs 1 crore given to Yuvraj Singh for his 6 sixes in an over. 4) The support staff including the Manager, Bowling Coach, Fielding Coach and Physio got Rs 15 lakhs each. 5) Lalit Modi, Vice President of BCCI gifted a Porsche car to Yuvraj Singh on his personal capacity. 6) Neosport presented a Mercedes car to R P Singh for excellent bowling performance in the tournament. 7) Sahara India has announced to give flats (worth Rs 25 lakhs = $62,500) to each cricketer. 8) The Delhi government has decided to offer free Air services to all members of Team India for 5 years. 9) Air India and Indian Airlines announced out-of-turn promotion for some cricketers including Dhoni, Uthappa, Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh. They will also get a steep hike in their salary. 10) The Haryana government has given Rs 21 lakhs to Joginder Singh. 11) The Karnataka government has announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakhs each for player Robin Uthappa and bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad. 12) Maharashtra government has announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakhs each for Ajit Agarkar and Rohit Sharma. 13) Virender Sewhag and Gautam Gambhir will receive Rs 5 lakhs each from the Delhi government. 14) The Kerala government has announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakhs for S Sreesanth. 15) The Baroda Cricket Association has handed over checks worth Rs 11 lakhs each to Pathan brothers - Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan. In addition, they also received Rs 5 lakhs each from the Gujarat government.

Can the Indian Government match the above list or atleast come close to it and tell us what our fallen heroes got for laying down their lives for the nation.

While peaceful protests are certainly desirable we need momentum at this time to send a bold and speedy message to our politicians that they are the ones who are partly responsible to the carnage that is bestowed on innocent Indians. It is high time despite so many attacks on our soil whether outsiders and insiders is itself a proof that the politicains had no steadfast determination to fight this kind of violence. We the people of India must not lose this opportunity to bring a change in the political establishment for the better. Politicians have just failed miserably. We must secure our borders internal and external and that is only possible when people ask for change boldly and loudly like Thailand did just days ago. We have the might and the right but we need greater resolve now.
