Mangaluru, Dec 1: Marian Infrastructure, Father Muller Convention Centre, and ‘Bhandary Heights’ were conferred with the prestigious Association of Consulting Civil Engineering (India), ACCE (I) MLR-UltraTech award under the category of well-built concrete infrastructure category.
Sana Ratnavel, national president of ACCE (I) felicitated the owners and engineers of award winning projects in a glittering award ceremony held at Milagres conventional hall here on Friday November 30.
After the detailed verification of 200 entries from the four districts which are Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagluru and Shivamogga, a three-member jury selected Milagres Home for the Aged’ constructed by Marian Infrastructure , Father Muller Convention Centre, constructed by Divakar constructions and Bhandary Heights’ constructed by Bhandari Builders as well-built concrete infrastructure in the region.
Padmashree Girish Bharadwaj, a social worker and pioneer of 128 hanging bridges was felicitated during the event by ACCE (I), Mangaluru chapter.
In his key note address, Vijay Vishnu Mayya, national vice-president, ACCE (I), said, “Engineers are the backbone of any developing city or region. Their dreams are converted into landmarks of several regions. Infrastructure improvises the beauty of a city. But without the help of engineers, architects and contractors, it is difficult to convert any area’s infrastructure. I congratulate the award winners and wish them all success in their future projects”
