Mangaluru: Immaculate Conception Church Kinnigoli celebrates colourful feast

Mangaluru, Nov 21: The annual parish feast of Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli was celebrated in an atmosphere of devotion and gaiety on Wednesday November 21.

Prior to the solemn concelebrated festal mass, Fr Mathew Vas, the parish priest distributed ‘candles of Honour’ to all the members of the Parish Pastoral Council, gurkars and representatives of the wards, presidents of different parish associations, those who had contributed toward the feast and also the sponsors of the annual feast. Shaila Sequiera, vice president of the Parish Pastoral Council and Vincent Mathais, secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council, read out the list of names.

Fr Vincent Monteiro, parish priest of Bendur Church celebrated the solemn festal mass, Fr Victor D’Mello, Fr Ronald Cutinha, Fr Rayan Crasta, Fr Melwyn Noronha, Fr Maichael D’Silva, Fr Assisi Rebello and others were present.



Fr Mathew Vas greeted the priests and the parishoners and thanked everyone for their contribution, participation and co-operation.

Fr Vincent Monteiro extended the festal greetings to Fr Mathew Vas, the parish priest, Fr Rupesh Tauro, assistant parish priest, Fr Sunil Pinto, assistant parish priest and to all the parishioners.

A number of devotees lit candles near the statue of Guardian Angel in front of the church. The stall of ICYM with a variety of lucky games was the chief attraction for the feast revelers.
