Koppal, Nov 18: BJP MLA Sriramulu has alleged state government’s conspiracy behind the arrest of Janardhan Reddy.

Speaking to news reporters after taking part in celebrations held as part of Valmiki Jayanti in Chikkavankalakunta village, he said, “The chief minister has purposely got him arrested to settle political scores.”

He said that he has grown strong with blessings from people. “I am identified as a strong leader in BJP. Nobody should spread propaganda that Sriramulu is leaving the party. Congress leaders shiver when they hear of Ramulu now. Spreading rumours like this do not help anybody,” he said.

“BJP party has made me strong. Therefore, there is no question of leaving the party. The recent incidents show that the state government is into revenge politics. Senior party leaders B S Yeddyurappa and Jagadish Shettar have spoken about it. There is politics behind the arrest of Janardhan Reddy relating to Ambidant case,” alleged Sriramulu.
