The cases of missing children has become a serious problem. The police department does not seem to have assigned enough seriousness to this problem. In several cases, even FIRs are not registered, the IGP lamented.
In their busy routine, the policemen might sometime, overlook some serious and delicate issues. This is not acceptable. The policemen should strive to improve their skills and efficiency, Prasad advised.

We come across police officials who want to deviate from procedures, saying that they are not 'practicable'.
