Bengaluru: BJP using pressure tactics to get Shivakumar on their side - D K Suresh

Daijiworld Media Network

Bengaluru, Nov 7: Karnataka irrigation minister D K Shivakumar was given an offer to join the BJP, revealed his brother and Congress MP D K Suresh.

Claiming that the offer came from a Central agency, he said he cannot reveal when the offer was made and the name of the central agency or its officers. However, it’s part of BJP’s pressure tactic against Shivakumar to check his political growth.

“Centre has been misusing the agencies to target opposition leaders. However, we are advising officials to work as per law and not bow down to pressure,” Suresh said.

In 2017, Shivakumar’s house and properties were raided by the Income Tax department and Suresh added that a case of criminal conspiracy was referred to the Enforcement Directorate.

Rajya Sabha member Ramamurthy said that all nine Congress MPs will meet the Enforcement Directorate’s chief, to complain about central agencies being misused.

Ramamurthy said that he had written to the ED on behalf of the MPs for an appointment on September 13. However, there has been no response yet, which is strange as officials are always available to MPs,
he added.

Congress MPs R Dhruvanarayana, K C Ramamurthy, G C Chandrashekhar and B N Chandrappa who were present for the press meet, criticized BJP leader B Sreemulu’s Bellary Lok Sabha bypoll campaign slogan ‘Shantha for Delhi, Shivakumar for jail’. This shows the desperation of the BJP to get Shivakumar arrested, they alleged.

The Modi government seems to be running on two-and-a-half power centers. All power is concentrated between the Prime Minister and the ruling party president with the National Security Advisor (NSA) chipping in as the troubleshooter trying to fix those who are unwilling to swallow the dictates of the PMO.
It is, therefore, not just the CBI or the RBI which are facing problems. It is now a national crisis affecting almost all institutions that safeguard Indian democracy. It is dangerous for the country.

It is a well-known fact how present CBI Director Alok Verma in midnight drama is ousted by NIA on the orders from PMO who is supposed to take 'Rafale Jet' Scam.

D K Suresh who helped Congress Rajya Sabha MP Ahmed Patel from Gujarat is BJP's target ever since. By targeting DKS BJP wanted to break the back of JD(S)-Congress alliance in the state. His name is once again targeted after Bellary defeat of BJP and pending cases against Janardhan Reddy is about to be pursued.

CBI, RBI, and NIA one by one institution under Prime Minister Modi became slaves. In the state, BJP is employing the same tactics which they employed in West Bengal and Maharashtra to defect Congress tall leaders.

If any officer has forced them or pressure them let them file complaint in the State as state is under their rule of chorbandhan. It is criminal offence if the person fail to report the criminal activity of any Govt Servant. So this is all cock and bull story. It is called "kagge gubbi" in kannada.
