Mangaluru: Wild Life Week celebrated at St Antony College Naravi

Mangaluru, Nov 5: St Antony College Naravi and Karnataka Forest Department, Kundapur division – Moodbidri sub-division and Venur zone organized 'Wild Life Week – 2018'.

Beltangady MLA, Harish Poonja inaugurated and urged the students to safeguard mother earth.

Fr Simon D'Souza, correspondent presided over the function.



Prabhakaran, IFS, DCF (Kundapur division), Ravindra Poojary, president, Naravi gram panchayat, M Achhappa, ACF (Moodbidri) were present.

Principal Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, delivered an introductory speech. Prashanth Pai, ranger officer, Venur, welcomed the gathering, Ajith Kumar, forest officer, Naravi, thanked everyone. Vice principal Santhosh Saldanha, staff members and students were present. Dinesh Naik, Vittla and Bhuvanesh, Kaikamba delivered a seminar on the need and significance of forest and wild life.
