Udupi: Nine children, mothers found begging and 3 child labourers rescued

Udupi, Oct 27: The operation to rescue children indulging in beggary was undertaken by district child protection unit with the support of nine other government departments and four social organizations on Friday October 26.

Nine young children and women, who were found begging in the streets by putting the children forward, were taken into custody and produced in child welfare committee court. Three child labourers rescued from Brahmavar.



Women and child welfare department, department of public instruction, Udupi municipal council, department of labour, department of social welfare, district child labour planning association, Manipal, Brahmavar police staff, Udupi district citizen’s committee, social work department of Shirva college, 'Vishwasada Mane' Shankarapura, JCI Udupi - Brahmavar took part in the operation.

    Great job! In Mumbai we have seen how the drug edict forced children to beg for him. If these organizations do the needful for education and rehabilitation of these children, it makes a big difference in our society. May God bless you all.

    All know who looted India since 1947 to 1977 without break. And we also know during who's period PSU Banks were allowed to loot by so called Industrialists.
    Since 2014 all those so called Industrialist r feeling the heat like Dooths, Ruias, etcetc
