Mangaluru Oct 23: A man was allegedly assaulted by Kuppepadav masjid chief and others at Kuppepadav Masjid premises on Tuesday, October 23.
Sheik Abdulla is the victim of this attack. He was allegedly attacked by Kuppepadav masjid head Haneef Khasimi, Koti Razak and others.
From last two months, Sheikh Abdulla's children were not allowed inside the Madrasa and were kept out of the class. It is said that Madrasa had issued ID cards to the students, which belonged to some Muslim organisation. Sheikh Abdulla had opposed this and his children were kept out from Madrasa for the last two months.
In this regard when Sheikh Abdulla went to ask with Kuppepadav masjid chief, he was attacked.
It is alleged that Sheikh Abdulla has been receiving threats from Koti Razak and his men for the last two months.
Sheik Abdulla is admitted at government hospital.
Case has been registered at Bajpe police station
