Kadaba, Oct 22: The name of Jayaprakash alias Anna (47) from Kattatadka in Noojibalthila village in the taluk finds mention in the list of 258 most wanted persons accused of different crimes by National Investigation Agency (NIA).

The NIA has released the said list as per which Jayaprakash who is believed to have been involved with the murder of Govind Pansare, Malegaon blast and other cases, has been absconding.

Jayaprakash, son of Somarajan from Kattatadka in Noojibaltila village is said to have been on the run after getting involved with bomb blast which occurred at Margao in Goa in 2009. Jayaprakash was an electrician by profession. It is said that he began to work as the driver for Sanatan Sanstha having its office at Mulky. He had married a girl from Kakkinje Thotattady in Beltangady taluk and has a child, it is said. However, since many years, his family does not have any contact or information abouthim.

NIA officials had visited Kadaba on September 18, 2013. During that visit, they had made enquiries and conducted inquest after pasting a poster containing Jayaprakash's picture to the wall of the revenue department office here.
