Kundapur, Oct 19: Police have continued their investigation with regards to the mysterious suicide case of Vivek (23), son of Udaya Mogaveera, a resident of Bobbarimakki, Markodi of Koteshwar village near here. In order to intensify and probe the case in different angles, four to five teams are made under the leadership of Kundapur DySP B P Dinesh Kumar and sub-inspector Harish R.
Udupi SP B Laxman Nimbargi paid a visit to Kundapur police station on Wednesday, October 18 and had discussion with the senior officers. Speaking to the scribes after his interaction with the local police officers, Nimbargi said, "Investigation is on. So far no real truth is found in the issues that the deceased has mentioned in his death note. We are trying our best. Investigation is being done from all angles."
MLC Srinivas Poojary and MLA Srinivas Shetty visit Vivek’s family
Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC, paid a visit to the family home of the deceased Vivek and offered his condolences. Speaking after the visit, Srinivas said, "There are some disturbing issues mentioned in the death note written by Vivek. The government and the home minister have urged the SP of Udupi district to hold a high level inquiry into the case."
Halady Srinivas Shetty, MLA of Kundapur also paid a visit to the family home of Vivek on the evening of Tuesday, October 16 and has urged the government to conduct suitable inquiry into the suicide and clear the air of controversy surrounding the mysterious death of Vivek.
