Shivamogga, Oct 15: BJP state chief B S Yeddyurappa on Monday said that the political situation in Shivamogga will change after the completion of filing of nominations.
Speaking to reporters here on October 15, Yeddyurappa said, "The houses of Congress and JD(S) will turn into houses of the BJP. After filing of the nominations on Tuesday, the politics in Shivamogga will be upside down. There will be a situation where Congress and JD(S) will hesitate to look at each other’s faces," he said hinting at major twist in bypolls with possible poaching between political parties.
Along with thousands of party activists I will go along with our candidate Dr Siddaramaiah in Mandya. From there I will move towards Jamakhandi, he added.
Criticising chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, BSY said, "The CM is blaming Modi that he is not allowing waiver of farm loans in nationalised banks. The CM shoud be ashamed. He is doing injustice to the people of the state. All developmental activities in the state are stopped. Who ensured the win of G T Devegowda by defeating Siddaramaiah?” he asked.
