Mangaluru, Oct 13: Mangaluru rural police have arrested two suspects on motor bike trying to sell ganja to students near Srinivas College, Valachilpadavu, Arkula on Friday, October 12.
The suspects are identified as Imran (24), resident of Neermarga and Imthiaz Ahmed (33), resident of Farangipete.
Mangaluru rural police station SI Venkatesh after receiving definite information arrested the suspects and confiscated 1 kg 350 grams of ganja, Rs 15,396 cash proceeds of ganja sale, two mobile phones and a motor bike.
The operation was conducted on guidance by Mangaluru south sub division assistant police commissioner Ramarao by rural police inspector Siddagowda H Bhajantri, police sub inspector Venkatesh I, south sub division anti-rowdy squad and Mangaluru rural police station staff.
