Mangaluru, Oct 12: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister, U T Khader, has got himself admitted into a private hospital at Bengaluru for treatment of leg pain that has become acute.
The minister has been advised complete rest for a week. Therefore he may not take part in some functions being held here on October 14 in which chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, is scheduled to participate.
The minister had experienced leg pain two months back and the doctors had advised him to take rest and treatment. However, because of natural disaster at Jodupala during that period, the minister had to put more strain on his legs, moving around here and there. He had thereafter got admitted into a hospital at Bengaluru. Although the doctors had advised him against moving around too much, the minister got busy with hectic progrmmes. Therefore, the pain aggravated, it is gathered.
The doctors will asses his condition and if it is absolutely necessary,the minister may also undergo surgery, it is said.
Special prayer was offered at Sayyid Madani Dargah at Ullal, seeking the blessings of the divine to heal the minister at the earliest.
