Udupi: Student of Manipal Institute of Technology commits suicide

Udupi, Oct 10: Avinash (17), a student of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal committed suicide on Tuesday October 9 by jumping down from the university campus building.

After jumping down, he had suffered serious injuries. He was admitted into the hospital immediately but his life could not be saved. Avinash was from Telangana.

Reportedly, before ending his life, the student had sent a message to his father, details of which are unknown. Manipal police, who have registered a case of unnatural death, are investigating.
