Bengaluru: Sexual pervert enters PG, embraces girls, still not traced

Bengaluru, Oct 7: One more sexual offender is creating panic among the girls who are residing in paying guest (PG) accommodations. It is learnt that this stranger enters the girls' PG accommodations without any fear and strokes their hand and body and suddenly embraces them.

The latest incident occurred in the PG accommodation at BTS road in the heart of Shantinagar in the city on the night of October 2. In this ladies' PG, which does not have any name, more than 200 girls are residing. It seems the owner of the PG is not following the rules that he is supposed to follow in running a paying guest accommodation, that too for girls.

An inmate of the PG narrated the issue and said, "The PG in which I am residing, a stranger arrives in the night. No one knows how he enters the PG and how he leaves. My friend and I were sleeping in our room. First, he touched my friend's hand and body. Then he came towards me and stroked my body. He does not run even if we scream. He goes out slowly and in filmy thug style,"

"In the beginning, when this incident occurred we were scared to report to the police. However, when the frequency of these incidents increased, we have filed a police complaint. There is no latch to the doors in this PG and also there is no security and CCTV camera. When we tried to apprise the owner of the PG about the complaint given to the police, he did not pick our calls. However, after he has come to know about our complaint from the police department, he is getting the issues rectified. Police have also assured that all issues with respect to safety in the PG will be resolved."

When the scribes contacted the owner of the PG with respect to the security lapse in the PG, he replied by saying that his PG is not a police station.

    I am 100 percent sure that prevert is none but the owner or his follower. How come doors of ladies hostel rooms have no bolts from inside. I think the owner has purposely done this. How come the girls stay there without proper protection. Police should arrest this prevert immediately and let him omit all the truth. Girls should vacate the facility and look for another unless safety precautions are taken.

    Horrible.I feel here owner may be self the person who comes and goes out and embrasses the girls.How he can run a PG without permission and without a watchman security etc?Here MCCshould look into this case of running a PG without all rules and permission.someone must keep a cmera without others knowledge and see who comes inside.A girls room without bolt is bit thinkable matter in a PG.How can one change cloths or take bath without locking the room?Just lookout for any secret cameras in bathroom or wcs,or rooms.Dangerous.Anyone can steal pockets or valueable s laptopor handys.
