Two youth killed after KSRTC bus hits bike from wrong side in Bantwal

Bantwal, Oct 7: Two teenagers died in a deadly accident between bus and bike here at Jakribettu in Bantwal on Sunday October 7.

The deceased are Charan (18) from Kudupu and Mohammed Naushad(18) from Dandegoli in Vamadapadav.

The accident occurred when the duo were heading towards historical Karinja temple from B C Road when a KSRTC bus hit their bike from the wrong side.

Immediately the locals shifted the duo trapped under the bus with serious injuries to a private hospital in Mangaluru. But they both succumbed to injuries failing to respond to treatment.

A case has been registered with Bantwal traffic police.

Every boday knows very well who ruled this country long time who made these narrow roards who made all traffic rules.. Who filled thre pockets and bank balance. They did not had future idia or any long term vision so we all facing now.. . Atleast now. u all open your eyes...

    RIP brothers. Driving on this route, which connects to Moorje/Madyanthar/Belthagady/Mudigere/Kadur/Chickmagalur need lot of driving skills.
    I have driven on this this road for more than 100 times in 8 years times on my OMINI with load to MOORJE/Belthagady and return . I am not telling the youngsters were wrong or KSRTC driver was correct. Careful driving is the need of the hour. Jai Hind

    VALUE FOR LIFE IS VERY LOW IN INDIA. CHANCES ARE VERY HIGH FOR ACCIDENTS AND ANYBODY CAN GET KILLED ON ROAD ANYTIME.     The Indian roads similarly or exactly a FISH MARKET scenario no one is following discipline on ROAD ! Specially bikers who taking adventure in between the narrow line of between two vehicle ! We pay toll money despite the ROAD tax but the toll money where it will go no one knows except the POLITICIAN!

    It is very sad that two young men were killed by a bus which was driven on the wrong side of the road. My sincere condolences to the parents of the deceased youngsters. The court will decide regarding the cause of the accident.

    Its is not the youngster use the bike only for stunt . They went on historical place and they were returning back to home . Bus was under a wrong side . without knowing the situation u cannot comment on it ..
    We lost our brother we only know how we are going through it .
