Kundapur, Nov 2: Newly built Hotel Shalom, located in the heart of the town was inaugurated recently at Kundapur.

Speaking on the occasion after inaugurating the hotel, president of Kundapur Town Municipality Mohandas Shenoy advised the hotel, which has been set up with new management, to serve the locals as well as tourists efficiently. At the same time, it should conserve environment and keep the neighbourhood hygienic and tidy, he advised. He conveyed his best wishes to the promoters of the hotel.

The customers should be treated with love and respect and special attention should be extended to them, so that they cherish and carry home the sweet memories along with them, said the parish priest of Kundapur Ward Fr Alban D'Souza, blessing the staff and the hoel management on the occasion.

Former president of town Municipality Gunaratna, councillor Cecilia Kotian, priest of Tallur Church Fr Benjamin D'Souza and Fr John Walter Mendonca, owner of the hotel Shalom Joachim D'Souza and others were present.
