Byndoor, Sep 25: A case stands registered in Byndoor police station relating to the suicide committed by a woman.
The woman who ended her life was Naushad Banu (27), resident of Gunjangudde, Nagur in Kirimanjeshwar village. The arrested man is Tariq (36) from Nagur, who is Naushad's husband.
Naushad had married Tariq eight years ago. On some issues, the couple fought among themselves frequently, it is said. on September 22, Naushad had called her elder sister to inform that she had decided to commit suicide. Although the elder sister advised her against taking the drastic step, Naushad stuck to her decision and hanged herself from a ceiling fan in the house of her husband, the complaint filed with the police stated.
