Mangaluru, Sep 23: Former union minister, B Janardhana Poojary on Sunday, September 23 said that chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has been invited to inaugurate Mangaluru Dasara.
Addressing media, he said, “The Kudroli Gokarnanateshwara temple committee visited the CM and invited him to participate in the festival. Being a simple and humble person, he is the right person to inaugurate Mangaluru Dasara. After confirming his convenient time, the temple committee will decide the inauguration date and time.”
“We do not have any plans to invite Congress president Rahul Gandhi or any other national level political leaders. But in general, we are welcoming all including Rahul Gandhi, Deve Gowda and other leaders,” he said.
Sai Ram, president, Kudroli Gokarnanateshwara temple, Padmaraj, treasurer, and Madhav Suvarna were present.
