Rahul Gandhi's attacks baseless: Anil Ambani

Mumbai, Aug 29 (IANS): Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani said on Wednesday that Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been mislead and misdirected by a malicious campaign by vested interests and corporate rivalry in levelling charges against him in the Rafale deal.

Addressing a press conference here, he said he has written to Gandhi in this connection and has also expressed his personal anguish on the continuing and baseless attacks against him.

"I have termed these attacks as baseless and unfortunate," Ambani said.

    One can imagine the seriousness of Congress's allegation from Rahul Gandhi's performance in Parliament. First accuses PM of being directly involved in the "scam", then tries to play a prank with a forced hug and follows that with winks .. probably very proud of what he did. Is this how a serious allegation is made in Parliament?!!!

    I remember Ambani filing 900 Crore defamation case against RG ??

    Is this news after, or before the suit ? Or, is the suit filed at all ? I am sure advisers of RG aren't fools to have given him information about the matter because the opposition very well knows of consequences if falss allegations are made.
